The All-New Grenadier Quartermaster, a double cab pick-up variant of the award-winning Grenadier, made its global debut yesterday at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
This will be shortly followed by a very special appearance on the famous hillclimb with some familiar Goodwood faces to celebrate two 75-year automotive anniversaries - motorsports at Goodwood and the Belstaff Trialmaster Jacket that lends its name to one of Grenadier’s trims. In an exciting exclusive for Goodwood Festival of Speed, adventurous visitors will be able to get behind the wheel of the Grenadier Station Wagon on a challenging off-road course at the Goodwood Halnaker Chalkpit neighbouring the main event site.
The All-New Grenadier Quartermaster is a pick-up version of the Grenadier SUV from which it has inherited its rugged and boxy looks, the utilitarian vehicle has been engineered as a double cab with seating for five. The Quartermaster was developed alongside the SUV, so the two models share most of the hardware.
The body-on-frame pick-up has been stretched by 305 millimetres compared to the SUV to fit the bed, which has a maximum payload capacity of 760 kilograms. The load bay measures 1.56m long and 1.6m wide, meaning it can easily accommodate a standard Euro pallet. Measuring 1.28m wide, the tailgate can take up to 225 kg when open. Much like the regular Grenadier, the Quartermaster boasts a towing capacity of 3,500 kg.
