As a (Class 1) Lorry / HGV Driver, you will:
  • Deliver and collect agricultural machinery and equipment using an articulated 44 tonne low loader, and also other means as required at times.
  • Safely load, secure and unload machinery.
  • Provide customers with delivery paperwork and obtain signatures where applicable.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation.
 
As a (Class 1) Lorry / HGV Driver, you must have:
  • A clean CE licence.
  • Experience driving and handling agricultural machinery.
  • Driver qualification card with driver CPC training.
  • A digital tacho card.
  • Forklift License.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • A smart appearance, a polite nature, and good communication skills are also important - deliveries are varied and often to customers.

Motor Vehicle Technician, Grantham
About us
Chandlers Vehicles are main dealers for new and used SsangYong vehicles, we also are specialists in nearly new and Used Pick-Up Trucks of all makes and models, and have recently been appointed (throughout Lincolnshire) as agents for the NEW 4x4 INEOS Grenadier as well as the INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster.
 
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will:
  • Be responsible for repairing and servicing vehicles for our SsangYong and Specialist Pick up dealership.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with vehicles ensuring the vehicle will operate to a high standard in alignment with the manufacturers’ specification, and is safe to drive.
  • Work with the vehicle sales department and aftersales vehicle manager to ensure challenging timelines are met.
  • Keep accurate records.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday with Saturday morning on an overtime basis as required.
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at a Level 3 (or have an equivalent qualification).
  • Highly motivated to ultimately become a Master Motor Vehicle Technician.
  • Willing to undergo any additional training and specific manufacturer training to further develop and update your skillset.
  • Able to problem solve and work under pressure in sometimes challenging deadlines.
  • Have a full UK driving License.

  • Be responsible for the organising and managing of a team of skilled engineers working on Agricultural machinery.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure parts availability and efficient time management.
  • Manage and optimise call outs and ensure all customers are being delivered first class service.
  • Manage all aspects of the service team and workshop.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with valued customers.
  • Will be expected to work Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Plus additional hours as required to meet the needs of the business, including weekend working when required.

  • Diagnose and repair problems with machinery ensuring the machinery will operate to a high standard in alignment with the manufacturers’ specification, and is safe to use.
  • Demonstrate and install machinery where needed.
  • Need to work with service and workshop managers and ensure challenging timelines are met.
  • Travel to customers in the surrounding area of your depot to service and repair machinery. (Must have a full driving licence)
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Qualified in Land Based Engineering at a Level 3 (or have an equivalent qualification in HGV, Plant or Construction).
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of customers and colleagues.
  • Willing to undergo any additional training and specific manufacturer training to further develop and update your skillset.
  • Experienced in working with agricultural machinery and willing to work overtime in peak farming and agricultural seasons.

As a Goods Inwards / Country Store Shop Assistant, you will:
  • Be involved in the sale, stock control and computer input of goods for a range of equestrian, pet and country store products.
  • Assist in all aspects of the Goods Inwards as required dealing with all incoming and outgoing parts deliveries, and related paperwork.
  • Be required to assist in the stock replenishment and helping customers load their vehicles.
  • Be required to work 5 days a week on a department rota over Monday – Saturday (including regular Saturdays). (This contract will be on a Temporary basis)
