Championing the next generation of Agricultural Engineers

Added 14/11/2023

Chandlers were once again successful at the Midland Machinery Agricultural Engineering Apprentice Awards earlier this month.

The apprentice awards were originally launched by MMS show organisers, Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society, in a bid to support and inspire young apprentices.

We are searching for the next generation of agricultural engineering apprentices to apply for the awards. We are looking for apprentices who are working and / or studying based in the Midlands. Each successful applicant will be chosen by a panel of NNAS judges and will be in with a chance to receive a total grant of £500 over a 2 year period, funded by NNAS.

Ryan Lomas of Chandlers Holbeach pictured above with Chandlers Academy Manager Andrew Silvester (left), achieved the 2nd part of the award plus an extra prize of a digital test meter which was sponsored by Hydrokit.

Joshua Whotton of Chandlers Belton and Nathan Walls of Chandlers Horncastle are also pictured (top pic) alongside Ryan with their award certificates.
