Hydraulic Folding Rollers
Walter Watsons are one of the most experienced and well known roller manufacturers in the UK for over 45 years. Renowned for the design and production of machines that are not only well constructed but without doubt one of the heaviest on the market. The 6.3m 3 section water ballast flat roller has been designed for maximum flotation and even weight distribution across the full working width. With ever increasing pressure on farmers to get more ground covered in a shorter space of time, the Watson 6.3m flat roll is the ideal solution for the expanding grassland farmer and contractor.
The Watson 6.3m and 8.3m 3 section Cambridge Rollers with the addition of spring tine mounted Shatter Boards reduce cultivation time and cost. The extra weight of the Watson roller complete with Shatter Boards make this machine ideal for preparing a firm seed bed and producing even consolidation. This in turn gives excellent conditions for seed germination.
Hydraulic Rollers
With an ever increasing demand for transporting rollers on the road, Watsons have produced a unique design for an End Tow Hydraulic Land roller which combines manoeuvrability and strength both on the road and in the field. Transfer from transport to rolling position is achieved by using a double acting ram and pivoting drawbars.
The Rear Hydraulic transport design allows rolling width from 8ft to 10ft. Both models have a greasable centre support which enables transportation fully ballasted.

Water Ballast Land Rollers
Walter Watson Ltd has a reputation for producing some of the heaviest and most durable land rollers on today’s market. We manufacture standard, compact and tandem rollers as well as rollers complete with hydraulic wheel kits and folding mechanisms.
Our standard trailed rollers range from 8-12ft rolling widths, with barrel diameters from 30-42’’ and a thickness of 10-20mm. They come with wooden or nylons bearings and a 75mm solid shaft axle. A heavy duty hitch ring is standard, with the option of 3 Point Linkage on the 8ft model.
Our compact rollers have a 5-6ft rolling width, a barrel diameter of 20’’ and a thickness of 6mm. They come with wooden bearings and a 50mm solid shaft axle. A ball hitch is standard, with the option of a clevis hitch or 3 Point Linkage.
Our tandem rollers range from 16-24ft rolling widths, with barrel diameters from 30-42’’ and a thickness of 10-20mm. They come with nylon bearings, a 75mm solid shaft axle and a heavy duty hitch ring. They also have a heavy duty front and rear tandem assembly, which is easy to change over from transport/single roller position.
Aerator
The recent addition of the 3m Spiral Blade Aerator to the range has brought a machine that combines strength, weight and speed of operation to the user. With soil compaction and unpredictable weather a constant issue, the Aerator gives the farmer of today the opportunity to maximise production from the land.
