Abbey Machinery is one of Ireland’s largest and most respected manufacturers of agriculture machinery including slurry & manure handling, grassland management and animal feeding equipment. Established by the Cavanagh family in 1947 and based at a 100,000 sq. ft. purpose built manufacturing facility set on a 30 acre site based in Toomevara, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.
The new facility is complemented by an extensive investment in the research and development department, which has seen its resources increase substantially, and also with company owned land that allows for the testing of all product functionality in a real agricultural environment. In addition a dedicated Research & Development facility of 30,000sq ft, together with a diligent Engineering Department with over 125 years engineering experience within the team combined with state of art CAD systems.
Slurry and Muck Handling: Standard, Open Top, Recess Premium and Premium Plus, Tandem and Tridem tankers options.
Diet Feeders: Abbey's Diet Feeder range include a variety of Vertical Auger Diet Feeders, Paddle Feeders and Static Feeders.
Grassland Management: Grassland Management include Toppers, Fertiliser Applicators and Shakers.
Available from Chandlers Ross-On-Wye, Martley, Raglan and Bridgnorth depots.
