Chandlers Academy Manager Andrew Silvester has recently visited a number of special educational providers to talk to students about Chandlers and the agricultural industry.

On his travels he has visited Lincoln College Adult Provision, St Bernard's School in Louth and St Lawrence School in Horncastle with a Valtra tractor for the children to explore and learn about, and finally Eresby Special School in Spilsby with a Massey Ferguson tractor.

Andrew also attended the 2024 SEND Careers and Employment Awards at The Bentley Hotel in Lincoln yesterday. The awards are to celebrate the career achievements of extraordinary young people and school staff across Lincolnshire.

During the event, a number of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and the education staff who have supported them were invited to collect awards in recognition of their efforts to raise aspirations around careers and find paid employment.
