A completely NEW approach to Irrigation

Added 05/06/2025

The high-performance Fasterholt irrigation reels allow a completely new approach to irrigation.

Fasterholt irrigation machines allow the pipe to be rolled-up on the move instead of being towed along the ground, which reduces wear and tear, and increases lifespan of the hose significantly. When compared to traditional UK hose irrigators, Fasterholt irrigation reels operate using lower pressure levels due to the reduced wear on the hose, meaning a thinner pipe and larger inner diameter is possible, therefore saving fuel, energy consumption and water, ensuring an efficient field irrigation.

These irrigators can also move and irrigate in straight tracks and through soft curves, so the hose length can be utilised in the best possible way to ensure efficient field irrigation, leading to longer uptime, and savings on set-up time and man-hours, as much of the manual field work can now be done from the tractor.

Fasterholt, a third generation family-owned company, began manufacturing self-moving irrigators in 1975 due to a severe drought triggering a huge demand for irrigators within the Danish potato industry. The Company currently manufactures and distributes over 500 irrigators per year.
