Sky Agriculture

Thinking about tomorrow's agriculture. Developing machines capable of meeting the economic and environmental challenges of our farms.

SKY Agriculture benefits from the expertise, know-how and experience of SULKY which ensures the continued development of the product range at its three factories in France. The Sky attention to detail can easily be recognised on first inspection. Every machine is finished to very high standards and there are a range of clever features to make them very user friendly.

Soil Preparation

Good seedbed preparation is essential. Sky offers a wide range of preparation tools, from tine combinations and rotary harrows to stubble cultivators. Their sturdiness, quality of work and ease of use are sure to satisfy you.

The Sky Methys Hybrid, a stubble cultivator designed as a seed drill. The machine is fully capable of accommodating a hopper for small seeds. It is also pre-equipped with a support for a distribution head to enable plant cover to be sown.

Sky Agricultural Seed Drills

Sky Seed Drills provide high capacity drilling solutions for all soil conditions and cultivation systems. No matter which model you choose the design focuses on achieving maximum productivity by allowing drilling in a large range of working conditions to increase the window in which crops can be established.

Whether you’re ploughing or stubble ploughing, there’s always a Sky seed drill for you.

Soil Preparation

Sky Rotary Harrows and Stubble Cultivation

Good seedbed preparation is essential for good yields. Sky offers a wide range of power harrows. Their sturdiness, quality of work and ease of use are sure to satisfy you.

Thanks to their 4 rotors per meter, SKY rotary presses take full advantage of the power available at the PTO. They provide thorough crumbling and good levelling (no ridging). They are reputed to pull less than their main competitors.

The Sky Methys Hybrid is fully capable of accommodating a hopper for small seeds. It is also pre-equipped with a support for a distribution head to enable plant cover to be sown. The aim is to offer a specialised stubble cultivator for precise shallow cultivation at depths of 4 to 7 cm.

This machine is ideal for conservation farming, for farmers with resistant grass problems, and for organic farmers wishing to carry out several very shallow false seeding operations.

Sowing

Combined Pneumatic Seed Drill

Performance, simplicity and ease of use are the hallmarks of Sky pneumatic seed drills. The high-precision centralised metering and electronic control of this range of seed drills guarantee you perfect control over seeding.

The PROGRESS seeder provides efficient seeding control, high work rates and optimized resources: seed doses, fuel, time. Thanks to its advanced technology, it ensures uncompromising planting precision to secure your yields.

Mechanical Seed Drill

Whether you’re ploughing or stubble ploughing, there’s always a Sky seed drill for you. With their tried and tested design, Tramline seed drills are robust and reliable in every way.

With precise, easy-to-adjust row-by-row metering, Tramline seed drills are at your service in all circumstances.

The most flexible drill on the market

The Easydrill is one of very few direct drills that can truly be advocated as a direct, a min-till, a grassland and a cover crop drill.

Furthermore, on well consolidated ploughing it can also be used in conventional systems. Its low disturbance disc coulter and press wheel not only ensure minimal weed seed germination, they also keep hp requirement to a minimum.

Available in working widths from 3m - 8m, a 6m Easydrill typically takes 200hp to pull which reduces fuel consumption and tractor weight and consequently reduces damage to the soil structure when drilling in damp conditions.

To cope with intensive use, Sky have re-designed and improved the HD seeding line. This has reduced the cost of ownership through the introduction of fewer and more easily replaceable wearing parts which last longer.

A machine created to work in all conditions

The Maxidrill is designed as a high speed trailed minimum tillage drill but works equally well on ploughed and prepared seedbeds and can be used as a no-till drill in certain conditions.

Key to the Maxidrill is the space within its construction which allows it to cope extremely well in wet, sticky and trashy conditions. Designed with a long chassis, the Maxidrill has the largest coulter stagger on the market.

This gives it maximum clearance ensuring unrivalled residue flow for drilling in heavy residue seedbeds late into the season when most other minimum tillage drills have been put away in the shed.

The Maxidrill’s road legal, high speed axle allows fast transport between fields and farms and means a comfortable ride for the operator. Thus enabling the press roller to be used for consolidation whilst seeding and not for transport. Available in 3m, 4m and 6m working widths - with or without fertiliser.

Sky Front Hopper

The “Progress TF” is the first front hopper on the market capable of managing up to 4 separate hoppers, all controlled via a single ISOBUS interface. This unique configuration enables simultaneous management of 4 different products, distributed over 2 independent air circuits. Farmers can thus adjust 4 different dosages and sow at 2 different depths, an essential flexibility to respond to the most advanced technical itineraries.

The XEOS TF front-mounted hopper is a major asset for all contractors and arable farmers in search of performance and profitability. The working width of 3 to 6 metres, a 1000 to 1800 liters Hopper capacity and 20 to 40 rows, makes for a versatile fertilizer/seeder, proving indispensable and economical when used regularly throughout the year, from spring to autumn, including cover crops in summer.

Fertilisation

Mounted Spreaders

Discover our 4 ranges of mounted spreaders to optimise your soil fertilisation. Sky DX series spreaders are mounted spreaders offering a spreading width range from 9 to 36 metres, with hopper capacities from 900 to 4200 litres.

X40+ and X50+ spreaders and X40+ and X50+ Econov spreaders with 1900 to 4200 litre hoppers for 12 to 50 metre working widths.

Trailed Spreaders

Sky offers 2 ranges of trailed fertiliser spreaders for fertilising your soil. The Sky trailed fertiliser spreaders are known as XT 100/130 and 160 and XT160H and 240H.

The first three models of trailed spreader come in mechanical versions, with capacities ranging from 7,200 to 13,000 litres and widths from 18 to 50 metres, while the others are hydraulically operated, with hoppers ranging from 13,000 to 15,500 litres and booms from 12 to 50 metres.
